Our Machine Learning Specialists work within a team of analysts, traders and developers, developing and maintaining low-latency trading algorithms.

Key responsibilities for our Machine Learning Specialists:

• Analyzing low-latency market data. 

• Developing new trading algorithms.

• Maintaining and optimizing existing trading algorithms.

• Developing tools to enhance our strategy testing and development.

Requirements, skills and experience:

• 2+ years of professional experience in building and applying machine learning techniques

• Intermediate knowledge of Python. (C++ and Java is considered a plus)

• MA Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or another analytical field.

•  Strong analytical, mathematical and problem-solving skills

• Detail oriented and able to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, with aggressive deadlines.

•  Previous experience or interest in financial markets, beneficial.

• Flexibility in dealing with tasks and deadlines.

• New Zealand residency or citizenship.
